Ružić wins W50 Nonthaburi

Croatia’s Antonia Ružić won the biggest title of her career at the W50 ITF Nonthaburi beating Japan’s Sara Saito in the final in straight sets. 20-year-old Ružić ranked 244 in the world at the start of the week, won W40 Říčany and W40 Kuršumlijska Banja titles in 2023.

With her title winning run in Nonthaburi Ružić climbed 33 spots in the WTA Ranking taking her ever so close to a top 200 return. Ružić is a former quarterfinalist at the Australian Open Juniors.

In the doubles draw, Zhibek Kulambayeva and Sapfo Sakellaridi won the title via a walkover after their opponent Lanlana Tararudee and Tsao Chia-Yi had to withdraw from the final.
